I’m actually looking for ‘The Heart of Briefne’ too, specifically the volume that has the autobiography of Owen Peter Mangan which I believe is in the 1984 or 1985 edition (or perhaps split between both).

How could one contact Anna for a sale inquiry. (I’m in the US and have had no luck finding these volumes.)

The book is no longer on sale but Anna does have a few left in stock. Otherwise I dont know of anywhere you can get them.

There were 9 volumes so do you know which one you were looking for?

Hi Ciaran, I’m concerned that you might be mistaken for me, get stopped by the cops and haev youn telephone bugged etc. The name Ciaran Parker is definitely weird – no offence, but for years I’ve been toying with changing the first part by deed poll to something with more social kudos, especially In Dublin 2,4,6. A namer like Simon or Sebastian might go better with Parker don’you think. I may have mentioned it on the blog that my dear mother (God be good to her) ;picked the name Ciaran after she’d read it in a local newspaper sports report that was lying on the toilet floort. Could you tell me please where is the burial place of my good friend T.P. Ennis? Just like yourself, I was in shock when I heard of his death (through internet, of all places!) and I would very much like to visit his resting place with a bunch of flowers next time when I am in Cavan.

I may be a bloody eedjit but a perspicacious one. From what I’ve heard on the old GV some of Belturbet’s blueshirts would love to take it up the arse and get some rear-end action, all on the QT of course.
