Making George W. Bush look stupid – a tough call

In Australia the opposition Liberal Party has accused Prime Minister Kevin Rudd of deliberately leaking a ‘phone conversation with President George W. Bush, in which the outgoing president appears as an idiot.
The ‘phone call, which occurred last monh, centered around the financial crisis gripping the world. The Aussie PM suggested that a summir of the G20 countries (an expanded G8 that includes emerging heavyweights like China and Brazil), to which George W. responded: “What’s the G20?”
The actions of the Liberals are really churlish. Kevin Rudd is a clever bloke – he speaks Mandarin for Christ’s sake – and his intellectual superiority obviously irks the Liberals.
Now I know about Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan, but Australia really does have a lot to be proud about. So why do the Liberals apparently have a Dependency Complex? For years and years they were up her very distant Majesty’s back passage, but they seemed to have migrated from there up George W’s ring. George is now, according to Liberal chief Malcolm Turnbull “the chief executive of our greatest ally.”
I feel it safe to say that Malcolm Turnbull, like his predecessor Johnnie Howard, was wanked up against a dunny wall by a poofter and hatched by the sun.
